Tennis

HERO Tennis provides fun, fitness and positive social experiences.
Programs are run on an on-going basis or as special events known as
HERO Tennis Carnivals.

HERO Tennis is available to individuals of all ages with developmental,
physical and emotional disabilities.

Lessons are scheduled Mondays through Saturdays and are tailored to meet
group and individual needs. These sessions are conducted at the metropolitan
area’s parks, schools, and indoor/outdoor facilities.


HERO Tennis Needs Funding and Volunteers!

$500
Will enable us to purchase tennis equipment for 40
developmentally disabled children and adults.

$1,000
Will provide start-up funds for a new 8-week program
for 15 mentally disabled people.

$2,500
Will provide funding for a year-round tennis experience for
15 adults with multiple sclerosis.

$10,000
Will enable us to open new year-round programs for 40 youngsters with autism.

$25,000
Will allow us to expand HERO Tennis to an additional 100 adults
and children with disabilities in Putnam and
Nassau counties, and New York City.
